Shot simulation
Watch the suggested shot play out on a 3D copy of your table, then try your own spin, speed and aim and see where every ball goes.
Point your phone at the table and tap the ball you want. EZQPool finds the table, the pockets and every ball by itself, then marks the spot on the rail where your chalk goes, with the diamond number. Put the phone away and shoot at the chalk.
iPhone and Android · 8-ball and 9-ball at launchAny corner of the table, phone at your normal height. No tripod, no shooting from above.
Hold it sideways. The guides turn green when all 4 corner pockets are in view.
The table, the pockets and every ball are already found. EZQPool picks the easiest pocket; switch to a bank, a kick or a combination if you like.
Put a piece of chalk on the rail at the mark. Phone in your pocket, cue ball at the chalk.
The app numbers the corners of your table. "3–2" is the rail from corner 3 to corner 2, and "1" means count one diamond from corner 3. Put the chalk there. Halves count too: "1–2 · 2.5" is halfway between the second and third diamond from corner 1.
The diamonds are the dots on the rail of every pool table. You never need to know a diamond system: just count.
Most aiming apps ask you to confirm the corners or review the balls, and some need a tripod or a photo from above. EZQPool finds the table, the pockets and every ball by itself, from where you stand, with nothing to check or fix by hand. Then it puts the answer where you can see it: on the real rail.
e.g. short rail 3–2, diamond 1. On 7, 8 and 9 ft tables.
